WELCOME TO THE WORLD AS SEEN THROUGH MY EYES. I have been involved in photography for many years. I won my first camera when I was in the Navy years ago and I have had one close by ever since.
The camera's available to us in those years were far from automatic. If you pulled the trigger and everything was not correct, you got something for the trash. If you were working for hire, you got to go back and shoot it over and probably were not given another opportunity by that client.
In our present automatic point and shoot world, I still use a lot of manual settings simply because I know it is going to give me the image I want. One advantage I have today is I do not have to wait a day or two to see the results.
In today's world, if you have a computer, the proper software and a little know how, there is no limit when it comes to producing a perfect image that tells the story you want. The trick today is to find the view or angle that will make your photograph unique. The Eiffel Tower in the slide show was published the first time I submitted it. The shot of the sunrise at the Alamo was published by the State of Texas as a cover on one of the annual reports.
I shoot what interest me and hope that you will receive some pleasure from viewing my work. I do accept assignments and will be adding more photography in the upcoming months. Thanks for stopping by.
